We seek members who are keen to succeed and can work collegiately within a cloud-based business. Qualifications welcomed include IPA, CPA, CA, CIMA, CGMA, ACCA, ICAEW, and similar.

We offer a supervised pathway to transition to BAS Agent or Tax Agent status.

Our business focus:

Smarter Advisory & Accounting is specifically designed to give small businesses ongoing support with both management accounting & business advice AND compliance reporting for GST, PAYG, and Income Tax, &c for an affordable fee. A number of offices have chosen to specialise and support the others in their specialist areas.

We question the traditional methods and attitudes of the accounting profession. We seek to provide a friendly, one-on-one service, regular reports to clients through monthly processing of accounts, and at a cost which doesn't break the bank. We are cloud focused and members can choose whether to work from home, via a virtual office or from offices or shop fronts.

The Services offered our clients:

We have developed a supportive accounting service for the self-employed, partnerships, small private limited companies, property investors and self-managed superannuation fund operators.

SA&A challenge the traditional method of accounting services, provided by most accountants. We consider "year-end only" accounting as totally inappropriate in today's business environment.

The SA&A cloud-based services is designed to give clients on-going support, and to keep them informed monthly of their businesses profitability and cash flow. SA&A monitors the business on a regular basis, to give advice at a time that it is pertinent.

From as little as $300+GST per month, which is extremely competitive with the traditional bundle of bookkeepers and "year-end only providers", we:

  • Process the client's work monthly.
  • Provide a payroll service if the client needs this.
  • Provide for the client monthly profit summaries and cash flows.
  • Provide IAS & BAS returns.
  • Prepare the year-end Profit and Loss Statements, Balance Sheet, the Funds Flow Statement, Depreciation Schedule.
  • Prepare the client's tax return.

This service is popular with small business owners, who find the regular contact with their accountant beneficial. We also provide regular newsletters and "Info From SA&A" articles. Our monthly fee structure helps with budgeting.

SA&A has become a specialist in rental property accounting.
