You'll never forget your first

Hotondo Homes have launched a never done before marketing campaign using a cheeky sense of humour to appeal to the first home buyer demographic

You'll never forget your first Hotondo Homes have launched a new series of home designs, the Milestone Range. Designed with first home buyers in mind, the Milestone Range reflects the need for more affordable housing in order to help aspiring home buyers achieve their first home milestone. According to Hotondo Homes National Marketing Manager Jodie Flower, the Milestone Range has a completely new look and feel to previous marketing campaigns. "We have used Instagram style photos and a subtle sense of humour to appeal to the first home buyer demographic," said Ms Flower. "We are targeting a younger demographic through online advertising and appealing to them in ways that they understand and are comfortable with." In a cheeky twist to regular marketing campaigns, this one has the tagline, "You'll never forget your first." The campaign revolves around how life is a series of first experiences. Some first experiences are remembered fondly, and others you may prefer to forget. "Everyone has first experiences, and your first home experience is one that needs to be remembered for all the right reasons," continued Ms Flower. "Building your first home can seem daunting, but we're here to make it easy and stress free, which is what our three step process is all about." The Milestone Range consists of an easy three step process. Haymes Paint Colour Consultant Wendy Rennie created four colour schemes to assist first home buyers. The colour schemes feature the latest trends with bold colours in Urban Style, a Simple Living arrangement featuring white on white, Home Comforts is full of warm relaxing hues, while Natural Selection creates a style of earthy tones. The home designs have been created to reflect narrower and smaller blocks of land, with five single and three double storey designs to suit the modern lifestyle. General Manager of Hotondo Homes Matt Daly believes that with the Milestone Range, first home buyers are given the perfect opportunity to enter the property market given the affordable designs plus generous government grants in each state. "Our vision was to create a range that reflected the budgetary and lifestyle requirements of the first home buyer," said Mr Daly. "We designed homes that are in line with contemporary style that maximises efficiency and function. I believe we have achieved this with our Milestone Range."
