Hotondo Homes wins at Franchising awards two years in a row

National building group, Hotondo Homes, took home an award for the second year in a row at the Franchise Council of Australia’s Excellence in Franchising Awards.

Hotondo Homes national marketing manager Jodie Flower took out the merit award for Franchise Executive of the Year at the awards night held in Perth.

This award is the most recent addition to Hotondo Homes’ string of accolades. Last year the company took out the coveted Franchisor of the Year – Service award at the 2008 FCA Excellence in Franchising Awards.

Hotondo Homes managing director Michael Renwick said winning awards two years in a row is a great achievement.

“Winning another award this year after taking out a major award last year is an excellent result,’’ Mr Renwick said.

“The awards are recognition of the hard work that has gone into growing and improving the company, especially over the last 12 months. We are constantly investing in the future growth of the company so awards such as these show that all our hard work is paying off.

“Being the only building company to win these awards is also a great honour as we have had to create our own franchising model that is completely different to other franchised industries. These awards show that our unique system is working successfully and can compete against more traditional models.’’

According to the Franchise Council of Australia, the Excellence in Franchising Awards “recognise and reward excellence and provide a platform for companies and individuals to showcase the amazing work they are doing in the franchising sector’’.

Hotondo Homes is Australia’s largest network of professional builders. Established in 1979, the company has grown by meeting the need for quality and affordability.
