Domino's on track for record profits

Written on the 24 February 2008

Australian-based pizza franchise Domino's has announced that strong profits at the end of 2007 have put them on track to record a 30% profit growth for the 2008 financial year.

The first half of the current financial year was very successful for the famous pizza company, with the opening of 27 new stores and $6.1million profit.

2008 is looking to be a big year for the business, with record profits expected as well as a move into the European market and more growth across Australia.

This Australian growth will largely be through franchising, as the company aims to lessen its number of corporate-owned stores around the world.
