Bucking Bull’s newest franchisees revealed that they had a shopping list of “must haves” which needed to be met by a Franchisor before they would consider purchasing a franchise.

Requisites included product offerings with a wide market appeal; a recession proof and growing industry category; good value for entry price and a long history in business. Bucking Bull met every one of these criteria and more.

Australia’s Favourite Roast & Grill’s traditional offer of delicious roast meats, grill-fresh burgers, subs, sandwiches, spuds, snacks and myriad of home-style meals, recently proved its mass appeal in Toowoomba’s Grand Central Shopping Centre. Not only has the regional store been a success with the locals, it’s also been a hit with franchisees Elizabeth and Arthur Gillam. “Once we started the research on the Bucking Bull franchise we found that a lot of work had been done to roll the franchise out to a lot more centres and their forward planning seemed exceptional”, said Elizabeth.

Bucking Bull is also at the right stage of the business cycle – the growth stage. There are currently plenty of fabulous locations available, compared with the limited opportunities available within some of the bigger groups. On the other hand it’s not a new and small franchise group either. It has been around since 1999 and now has 30 stores in 3 states. It has high brand awareness, a demonstrated track record, highly experienced management staff, proven systems and a well established preferential supply chain.
