Juice Box Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice Vending Machines
LICENSEE’S WANTED AUSTRALIA WIDE
The 'Juice Box' freshly squeezed Orange Juice vending machine is without a doubt the most unique and innovative vending machine to be developed anywhere around the world in the last two decades.
This European made self serve kiosk is effectively an attractive, highly engineered vending machine that chills, cuts and squeezes fresh oranges into a cup for immediate consumption.
The whole process is completely autonomous from the moment that money is inserted to the moment that a cup of chilled freshly squeezed orange juice appears in the dispensing window.
Consumers everywhere are becoming increasingly health conscious which makes the Juice Box orange juice vending machine one of the most sought after vending machines on the market today.'
Three oranges a day will definitely keep the Doctor away !
The Licence
The Juice Box is sold under License to approved Licensee's.
This License gives you the right to operate the machines and also confers certain obligations upon Vendwest (www.vendwest.com.au) as your Licensor.
To obtain a Juice Box License you must first purchase a minimum of three machines at a cost of $13980 plus gst each.
Three machines is the bare minimum required to achieve the economies of scale required to successfully operate a freshly squeezed orange juice business.
A small License fee based on a percentage of monthly turnover is payable to Vendwest as the Master Licensor for Australia.
As your Licensor we remain actively involved in your business by doing the following:
1. Assist you to find sites for your machines and to re-site them when necessary
2. Provide the remote monitoring services and pay all telco communication charges associated with the remote monitoring services.
3. Negotiate with orange wholesalers to secure good prices for oranges on behalf of Licensees.
4. Ensure that other Licensee's do not solicit a site from an existing Licensee
5. Invest money in spare parts to ensure minimum downtime.
6. Provide a warranty on the machines and provide ongoing technical support for them.
7. Provide unlimited free telephone support for Licensees.
8. Provide marketing and advertising templates for the use of Licensees
9. Provide a free site selection service to Licensees to assist them to identify sites that are generally good or generally bad based on other figures being achieved by other Licensee's on similar sites.
10. Provide and update site agreements to be used with site owners.
The Machine
The Juice Box contains an internationally patented squeezing unit that is specifically designed to separate the bitter peel oil from the juice itself ensuring an unusually sweet tasting juice every time.
It is capable of accepting both coins and notes and comes with the very latest Australian standard payment equipment.
The Juice box will hold around 240 oranges and as soon as a customer has inserted their money it will automatically drop 3 oranges onto a blade for cutting. It will then feed each half into the squeezing unit.
The waste peels are repelled to a waste bin and the chilled juice flows through to a cup that is also automatically produced by the machine.
The Juice Box contains a large perspex viewing window that allows customers to watch the whole squeezing process in action which dramatically increases the level of interest in the machine.
Remote Monitoring
Remote Monitoring of a vending machine is still not commonplace in the vending industry as the technology required is highly advanced.
Even though there are a small number of companies in Australia that are attempting to create a remote monitoring system, very few of them have perfected it.
The Juice Box has an operating Remote Monitoring System that is revolutionary in the vending industry.
The machine will send the operator a text message when any of the following things occur:
1. The top shelf runs out of oranges
2. The lower shelf runs out of oranges
3. Less than 3 oranges are counted into a cup
4. A machine malfunction of any description occurs
The Remote Monitoring system allows for “just in time” refills which has the effect of maximizing profits and reducing expenses.
The Remote Monitoring System allows an operator to log onto a website with a secure password to view all of his or her machines in the field which makes the Juice Box one of the most sophisticated vending machines on the market today.
In essence the Juice Box is a business in a box capable of returning percentages unseen in mainstream businesses.
Cleaning and Maintenance
The Juice Box is equipped with a state of the art inbuilt cleaning system. In fact it has a two stage cleaning system.
The squeezing unit has a number of inbuilt high pressure water jets that are linked to a 15L water tank stored in the machine.
The system can be set to automatically operate the regular cleaning jets after a certain amount of cups have been vended. It comes standard with the cup interval set to every 8 cups before the cleaning mechanism activates but can be changed on demand.
There is also a secondary stronger cleaning system that operates for 15 minutes at a time at pre-determined times, usually once in the morning and once at night.
This cleaning routine can also involve a sanitizer that is stored in a 5 L tank in the machine.
Even though the inbuilt cleaning system is particularly effective, it is recommended that a manual clean of the machine take place at least twice a week.
During a regular service, an operator will be required to do the following:
1. Empty the waste water tank (the water from the routine cleaning is pumped into a 15L tank)
2. Refill the 15 L clean water tank
3. Refill the 5 L sanitizer/water tank
4. Restock the machine with oranges
5. Either manually clean the squeezing unit or simply swap it out for a clean one (requires the purchase of an extra squeezing unit)
6. Empty the waste peel bag
7. Clean the dispensing faucet
8. Collect the money
The regular (twice weekly) service should take around half an hour and possibly a little longer depending on the usage of the machine.
The Money
The money collected by the machine is stored in either the “cash box” or the “Note Reader”.
The Juice Box also has another vending industry first designed to protect the money from third party servicemen and site owners.
The cash box, note reader and coin mechanism are all fitted behind a solid lockable panel (two locks) which can only be accessed with the key.
This means that an operator can give a machine key to a site owner without giving them access to the cash collection systems panel.
This is a particularly attractive feature as from time to time it might be necessary for someone to access a machine and it is not always cost effective for an operator to drive to a machine to perform mundane tasks.
This “cash lock out” system also means that a site owner can even do the regular service and restock for the operator and the operator can simply attend site when it is time to collect the money.
The Business Operation
Vending is one of the simplest and most lucrative business opportunities available. It can provide a very significant income whilst at the same time allowing for a totally flexible working week.
As a Juice Box Licensee you will be required to find businesses and public places who are prepared to host a Juice Box. You will also receive assistance from us as your Licensor to find sites.
Given that the Juice Box is a particularly unique vending machine that provides a healthy product, most site owners are happy to have a machine in their workplace.
Others may want a small commission from the sales through the machine.
You will be required to attend each of your machines twice per week for approximately half an hour at a time for restocking and cleaning.
Our recommendation is that you sell each cup of freshly squeezed orange juice for $3.5. Your average cost for the 3 oranges and the cup will be around 50c.
That gives you a profit of $3 per cup.
If you can sell just 20 cups per day on a 6 day a week worksite, that is an annual gross profit of nearly $19 000 per year per machine.
Machine Placements
There are an unlimited number of locations that a Juice Box can be successfully located. Just some locations that the Juice Box can work well at are as follows :
Major distribution centres such as Coles, Woolies , Myer , IGA etc.
Prisons, Major Engineering firms, Bank branches, Defense Force Barracks, Catering companies, Hospitals, Airports, Minesites, Workshops, Medicare, Centres, Transport companies, Taxi companies, Department of Transport, licensing centres, Health insurance offices, Factories, Earthmoving companies, Centrelink offices, Gyms / Recreation centres / public swimming pool facilities, CBD offices, Call centres, Shipbuilding companies
Shopping Centres, Casinos, Airline lounges at airports, Airport bars and cafes, Taxi shelters where the 1st cab waits at airport, Sporting Clubs
Dept of Transport Vehicle inspection centres, Major oil and gas companies, Construction sites, Any 24 hr sites such as Abattoirs and factories, Schools, Train Stations, Recreation Centres, Sports Stadiums
The Juice Box is viewed differently by site owners to standard drink and snack vending machines.
It is a product that they are actually interested to have on site which makes the placement of machines a relatively quick and easy process.
We are right at the very beginning of the fresh orange juice vending industry which means that the marketplace is not yet saturated with these machines in the same way that it is saturated with traditional drink and snack vending machines.
Summary
The Juice Box is quite simply a revolution in vending that ticks all the boxes.
It is a healthy vending option that consumers actually like, it is highly profitable and it is simple to operate.
Given that this is a “ground floor” business opportunity, achieving real scale is currently possible for investors that are prepared to invest the time, money and effort into the business.
