Introduction

Sustainable Directions is a home based business franchise that assists small business owners and householders to go "GREEN".

Carbon Footprint Measurements

Franchisees will be trained to measure the carbon footprint of small organizations using a specifically developed software tool that has been commissioned by Sustainable Directions. The carbon footprint calculation takes into account electricity, gas, water, paper, vehicle and air travel and serves as a base for future reductions. This helps business owners cut their green house gas emissions whilst at the same time reducing their operating costs.

Environment Program

We assist small business owners to adopt environmentally friendly strategies to help them target the growing market of green consumers and save costs along the way.  This is facilitated through the 6P Green Program, that is a proven template that helps small business owners:

• measure and reduce energy usage
• introduce green products and services
• engage staff and other key stakeholders
• form partnerships with reputable enviro and community causes

The 6P green Program is is an affordable program that is priced to fit the budget of most small business owners.

Green Planet Presentations

Franchisees will also be licensed to deliver Green Planet presentations to business owners, employees, schools and communiy groups for a reasonable fee. These presentations cover the basics of climate change, global and local impacts, solutions for a sustainable future and reasons to act now on climate change. They are an excellent introduction for the sustainable services for small business owners and householders. The Green Planet presentations have been developed over the years by experienced climate change presenters who will also deliver the initial Green Planet training to Franchisees.
