Fernwood plans Indian expansionWritten on the 24th of February 2008 Fernwood, the Australian-based women's fitness franchise, has announced that it plans to expand into the Indian market.The company, which currently has more than 70 gyms across Australia, is looking for local partners in India to help them launch in the next year. The Indian gyms will mainly be operated by franchisees and Fernwood aims to open 60 fitness centres across 35 cities within the first 5 years.
